Eric McAfee has worked hard to make a positive impact on the world. He is not only a successful entrepreneur and venture capitalist, but also a philanthropist with a passion for agriculture and renewable energy.

Mr. McAfee is currently the CEO and Chairman, as well as a founding shareholder of AE Biofuels, a leading global biofuels company with operations and developments in India, Argentina and the US. McAfee is also the Co-Founder and Principal of Cagan McAfee Capital Partners, a Silicon Valley based merchant bank. CMCP chiefly builds or acquires growth companies in energy, technology and financial services, and raises the necessary capital, legal expertise and investor relations to make that company thrive. McAfee is also a co-founder for Organic Pastures Dairy Company, a 400-acre raw milk dairy and distribution company that is now the largest raw milk producer and distributor in California, and founder and major investor in McAfee Farms, a producer of organic almonds.

Mr. McAfee is also a huge advocate of donating his time and money to philanthropic organizations. In 2004, Mr. McAfee funded a significant portion of Dr. Lapsley McAfee Fieldhouse and Meadow at Mount Hermon. This Christian conference center features junior and high school rooms, as well as family game facilities. In 2007, Eric McAfee and his wife were awarded the Opportunity International Founder’s Award for founding the Opportunity International Rural Finance and Ecology Initiative. This company provides loans to more than 1 million clients in 35 countries who are struggling as entrepreneurs. Mr. McAfee's philanthropic work has been recognized by his alumni association at the California State University of Fresno. In 2002 he earned the business school of the year award, as well as the Top Dog Award for being an Outstanding Alumni.
